As SVP, Administration, Greg oversees many of the Company’s head office departments that support business operations across Canada including: Human Resources, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Compliance, Training & Education, Quality and Professional Standards, and the Business Intelligence Unit (BIU).

Smith began his career with Crawford in 1996. He worked in Marketing, Project Management and Claims Operations before being appointed Vice President, National Programs in 2007. He established the Key Account Management team in 2011 and was appointed Senior Vice President shortly thereafter.

Smith is a graduate of the Executive Masters of Business Administration (MBA) Program from the Ivey Business School at Western University in London, Ontario, and the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Program at Wilfrid Laurier University’s School of Business & Economics in Waterloo, Ontario. He is a Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP) with the Insurance Institute of Canada and holds a Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation from the Global Risk Management Institute.
